Dear customers,
As already informed it has been decided to drop the Portland call on a structural basis from the system as of 2015. The first vessel not calling Portland anymore will be SEASPAN HAMBURG 448w.
For Container already booked ex North West Continent or on board of SEHAM 448w from West Med to Portland we are pleased to offer the following option:
1) COD to Tacoma or Vancouver with delivery at port Tacoma/Vancouver only, without compensation, but an agreed arrival date.
2) If Portland port is required, we will issue COD to Vancouver. Cargo will be discharged in Vancouver and loaded onto the next possible vessel to Portland. No arrival date at Portland guaranteed.
3) In case inland delivery involved, these will be routed via Tacoma.
New bookings to Portland cannot be accepted anymore.
