In view of continuous heavy imbalance between import and export in Manila port, Philippines, NYK has suffered huge additional costs to evacuate empty boxes out from
Manila port, Philippines. As part of our cost recovery measures, as well as to enable us to better manage equipment flow, NYK would like to implement Equipment Imbalance Surcharge with effect from 11 th July 2015 for all import shipments destined for Manila port, Philippines.

Effective Date : 11 th July 2015
Quantum : USD168/USD336 per 20’/40’
Shipment : All import cargoes to Manila port
Payment Term : Collect at destination
