Aqaba (Jordan) – Congestion Surcharge Cancelation
With reference to the latest situation at Aqaba (Jordan), as a result of the noticeable operational improvements, the positive progress made with the concerned authorities and a marked improvement in productivity, we will be withdrawing the congestion surcharge of USD 200/container on all import and export containers which was to be effective from August, 1 2015 for all trades except North America (FMC) where it was to be effective from August, 7 2015.
We have been assured of the full support from relevant stakeholders and Government bodies in returning Aqaba back to normal service levels.
