We are pleased to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will restructure and improve the existing South America to South Africa network. Hapag-Lloyd is committed to the African Trade and your valued business. Therefore we will continue to offer you a reliable as well as sustainable product which will meet your requirements with a further enhanced product.
Hapag-Lloyd decided to establish a new service connecting South America East Coast with South Africa and Angola. This new product will also provide a connection of the North, Central and the entire Latin American market with South Africa as well as Angola for your cargo.

The new service setup will enable Hapag-Lloyd to offer:
Weekly and direct connection from South America East Coast to South Africa and Angola and vice versa
Most competitive transit times to and from key markets
Connection to the Hapag-Lloyd’s comprehensive global liner service network especially from United States, Central America and entire Latin America at major Brazilian transshipment ports
The enhanced South America – Africa – Triangle Service (SAT) will start in week 34 followed by a phase-in period.
