Increase in India Service Tax rate
Dear Valued Customer,
The India Government has notified the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Cess at 0.5% of the value of service effective 15th November 2015.
These changes come to effect from 15th November 2015 and accordingly, Maersk Line will be charging a Swachh Bharat Cess of 0.5% along with a service tax of 14% on applicable India related charges in the invoices raised on or after 15th November 2015.
