Dangerous Goods Surcharge for Rail Cargo

Effective January 01, 2016

 
Dear Valued Customer,

 
In order to recover increasing costs related to the movement of dangerous goods by rail CMA CGM Canada will implement a Dangerous Goods Surcharge for rail cargo as follows:

 
Amount:                             USD 75 per container
Scope:                                 all IMDG cargo moving to final destinations in Canada or from places of receipt in Canada by rail
Effective date:                January 01, 2016 (cargo receiving date for import, onboard date for exports)
Charge code: CAR15 for exports
CAR65 for imports
