Rule: 009 Freight Forwarder Compensation (M021)

Dear valued Customer,
as Agent of EVERGREEN LINE we would like to inform you regarding new filing for Freight Forwarder Compensation with effective date March 15, 2016:
B. Maximum rates of compensation and application thereof for all shipments including special equipment.
(1) Port-to-Port service
Compensation for freight forwarding service, should be based on “Net O.F. (deduct all
including charges)”. Once the “net O.F.” is minus after deducting all including surcharges,
there will be No FAC charges applied for the shipment.
(1-1) Combination service (port service + inland haulage) Inland portions of the through freight being excluded from the computation of compensation for freight forwarding service in respect of the service covered hereby, such compensation shall be computed only with
reference to port-to-port portions of the through freight of this tariff at the maximum rates of compensation.
(1-2) Exception: freight forwarder compensation for special equipment and reefer will be applied
to 1.0% for USEC.
(2) Through Intermodal Service
Compensation for freight forwarding service, should be based on “Net O.F. (deduct all
including charges)”. Once the “net O.F.” is minus after deducting all including surcharges,
there will be No FAC charges applied for the shipment.
