please be informed that COSCO decided to implement following charges
Yard Adjustment from/to North West Europe to/from USEC with valid from 01st, June 2016
Yard Adjustment Charge (YAC) applicable at Antwerp
terminal(s) is a pass thru charge for containers
already received at the terminal(s) for following
amendment conditions:
A. When a container has been delivered full to the
terminal for shipment on an intended vessel as booked
with the carrier and merchant requests carrier to
ship container onto another vessel than intended
vessel a YAC charge of EUR 45.00 is applicable and
for merchant’s account.
B. When a container has been delivered full to the
terminal for shipment to a destination as booked with
the carrier and merchant requests carrier to ship to
another destination than originally booked a YAC
charge of EUR 45.00 is applicable and for merchant’s
account.
C. When upon loading on board a vessel the weight class
of a merchant stuffed container is different than the
weight class as booked by the merchant a YAC charge
of EUR 45.00 is applicable and for merchant’s account.
Weight classes (including tare of container):
Light – up to and including 18 tons
Medium – over 18 tons and up to and including 24 tons
Heavy – over 24 tons
D. Assessment of this charge will be as follows:
1. In event of A. (change of vessel) YAC EUR 45.00 per
container will be applicable.
2. In event of B (change of destination on terminal)
YAC EUR 45.00 per container will be applicable.
3. In event of A. + B. (change of vessel due to change
of destination) only 1x YAC EUR 45.00 per container
will be applicable.
4. In event of A. + B. and C. (change of weight class)
2 times YAC EUR 45.00 per container (EUR 90.00)
will be applicable.
