Dear Valued Customer,
Due to a critical congestion situation in Costa Rica ports, CMA CGM will be implementing an Emergency Port Surcharge for all the containers discharging in Costa Rica ports effective January 1, 2017.

EMERGENCY PORT SURCHARGE
Due to increasing port expenses, except as otherwise provided, an emergency port surcharge will apply to tariff or service contract rates on cargos bound to outlined port of discharge or inland points routed via stated pod.

To: Costa Rica Ports
EUR 100 per 20’ (TEU)
EUR 200 per 40’
** All applicable rates, surcharges, and rules, including, where applicable, mandatory pricing elements under EU commitments can be located in the applicable Governing Tariffs.
