Please be advised that due to US and Canada 24 Hours compliance rule, PALLETS or PALLET as package type is not acceptable for all imports & transshipments cargo and then Freight (Consignment) remains on board as “FROB” (foreign cargo remaining on board) without discharge to below countries.

2) Canada
3) Puerto Rico
View above you need to indicate Number of Pieces versus the Pallets. Please note, numbers of Pallets should not be treated as numbers of Packages but it needs to provide total pieces/ cartons within the Pallets. Therefore, Pallets are not acceptable as manifested quantities. Example, a container containing 10 Pallets with 200 cartons should be manifested as 200 cartons not 10 Pallets.
Appreciate your compliance to the aforesaid rule with very urgent effect. Failing to meet the requirement will lead to Customs Penalties and Delay in Cargo Delivery.
Shipping Instruction (EDI) received with package type as PALLETS or PALLET will not be processed. Then Shipping Instruction (EDI) will be rejected requesting to resend the Shipping Instruction (EDI) with lowest visible package kind.
