Singapore – Implementation of Container Inspection Fee

 
Dear Valued Customer,

Please be informed that a container inspection fee (INP) will apply for all containers moving to Singapore as follows:

This fee is for work done on surveying empty container when returning to depots.

Origin : China
Destination : Singapore
Effective Date : 1 February 2017

Equipment Type                                                                    Fee
Dry                                     USD 5 per container
Refrigerated                                    USD 10 per container

The charge will be on collect basis.

Exceptions:
(1) Does not apply to shipper owned equipment.
(2) Does not apply to advance transshipment management (ATM), re-export or re-use (street turn – without returning to depot) containers.
