Cargo measurements to be manifested for imports to Bahrain

RE: Cargo Measurement (CBM) mandatory in manifest for Import to Bahrain.

With reference to subject matter, please be advised that Bahrain Port Authorities has made stricter on the existing requirement to include measurement of cargo (CBM) in discharge list.

Basis which, kindly inform all our offices, that it is a mandatory requirement to declare “CBM” for each FCL container in manifest for all the shipments to Bahrain with immediate effect, as some of the locations are not showing measurement of cargo (CBM) in the manifest.

Penalties/amendment charges if any incurred due to the non-compliance of same, will be on load port account.
