CMA CGM presents its new added value service, CMA serenity

CMA takes over the serenity story that APL came up with a while ago.

They tell us that they will pay cargo damages within 30 days, no discussions. The reality behind that is that this is nothing but a cargo insurance. To take advantage of the serenity, premiums must be paid, see here:

• 49 USD/Ctr to secure your cargo value up to 25,000 USD/Ctr
• 99 USD/Ctr to secure your cargo value up to 50,000 USD/Ctr
• 199 USD/Ctr to secure your cargo value up to 100,000 USD/Ctr
• Personalized option

Customers may still go for it to have an easier life.
