CMA CGM announces a peak season surcharge on the Asia > North Europe Line (Westbound)
To our Valued Customers,
In a continued effort to provide a high standard of service, CMA CGM has decided to implement a Peak Season Surcharge
(PSS) of USD 300/ TEU effective from the 5th of December 2016
The PSS will be applied as follows:
· Origin Range: from All Asian ports (including Japan, South East Asia and Bangladesh)
· Destination range: to all Northern European ports (including UK and the full range from Portugal to Finland/Estonia)
· Cargo: Dry cargo, OOG’s, Paying empties, Break-bulk and Reefer cargo
· Date of application: 5th of December 2016, bill of lading date.
· Scope: PSS will be applicable on all quarterly, 6 months & long term contracts
