Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) Far East/Oceania to USA
Effective July 1st, 2016
Dear Valued Customer,
CMA CGM (America) LLC is announcing the following changes to tariff CMDU-043 Rule 010.08. This change will go into effect July 1, 2016, and affect the following; imports from Far East and Oceania to USA.
Unless otherwise specified, a Bunker Surcharge (BAF) shall apply to ALL cargo rates moving under the scope of this tariff as shown.

NOTE 1: From PRC, Bunker Charge on a freight collect basis prior to release of cargo.
EXCEPTION: PRC Bunker Charge will be allowed to be prepaid in Hong Kong, only upon written request from the shipper.
EXCEPTION: For shipments ex PRC: Upon request from the shipper, the Bunker Charge can be paid together with the freight, provided that the full amount of freight and Bunker Charge are paid prior to release of cargo.
