Any rail cargo without US Customs clearance prior to vessel arrival whether loading the rail on or off dock will incur a fee of 150.00 USD per bill of lading.
Charges associated with the movement of the container to an off-dock rail site, including but not limited to the extra charges incurred based upon the alternate rail routing are for the account of cargo. Additionally, cargo under government hold at time of vessel arrival will also be subject to the applicable additional drayage and/or rail routing charges if routed to an off-dock rail site.
Customer has the option to accept the charges as outlined above for off-dock movement or allow the units to remain on the marine terminal for the on-dock service accepting and securing all applicable marine terminal charges.
Late cleared containers that are too heavy to legally move from the marine terminal to the off-dock rail facility will need to remain at the on-dock facility to make train connections, and the customer will be responsible to accept and secure all applicable marine terminal charges.
