Strike at POD Poti (GEPTO)
Dear valued Customer,
as Agent of EVERGREEN LINE we would like to inform you about the current strike actions at POD Poti since May/05. An ending date is not announced yet.
This situation is causing heavy delays on feeder vessels ex T/S port Piraeus.
As a consequence Poti cargoes are accumulating at Piraeus that we will not be able to load on first available vessel.
We are closely monitoring situation and, in case strike will not be over soon, we are working on a contingency plan.
We will remain at your disposal for any further clarification/assistance and will keep you updated.
