Revision of Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge (LSF)
on South America/ Intra-Europe & West-Africa from/to North Europe Trade

 

 
As from January 2015 all shipping lines calling the Emission Control Areas (ECA) have to use higher-quality fuels with a max. content of 0.1% sulphur resulting in an annual cost increase.

 
Please note that LSF updated in Europe effective January 01st , 2015 as per below.

 
Trade: South America from/to North European main ports (Hamburg-Le Havre range incl. UK)
Effective Date: 1st January 2015
Southbound: EUR 20/40 (per 20’/40’)
Northbound: USD 25/ 50 (per 20’/40’)

 
Trade: South America from/to Baltic & Scandinavian ports
Effective Date: 1st January 2015
Southbound: EUR 70/ 140 (per 20’/40’)
Northbound: USD 85/ 170 (per 20’/40’)

 

Trade: Intra-Europe & West Africa from/to North Europe

Effective Date: 1st January 2015
Main ports: EUR 20/ 40 (per 20’/40’)
Scan/Baltic: EUR 70/ 140 (per 20’/40’)
Main Ports: BEANR, DEBRV, NLRTM, GBTIL
