Russia – Ban of Agricultural Products from the Republic of Turkey

We would like to inform you that on November 30, 2015 the Russian government signed a decree to ban import on agricultural produce, raw materials and food products originating from the Republic of Turkey.

 

 
Please find below the respective list of banned goods effective January 1, 2016:
 Parts of carcasses and offal of domestic chickens, frozen (HS Code 0207 14 EAEC)
 Parts of carcasses and offal of turkeys, frozen (Code 0207 27)
 Carnations, fresh (Code 0603 12)
 Tomatoes, fresh or chilled (Code 0702 00)
 Onions and shallots, fresh or chilled (Code 0703 10)
 Cauliflower and broccoli, fresh or chilled (Code 0704 10)
 Cucumbers and gherkins, fresh or chilled (Code 0707 00)
 Oranges, fresh or dried (Code 0805 10)
 Mandarins (including tangerines and Satsuma)(Code 0805 20)
 Grapes, fresh (Code 0806 10)
 Apples, fresh (Code 0808 10)
 Pears, fresh (Code 0808 30)
 Apricots, fresh (Code 0809 10)
 Peaches, including nectarines, fresh (Code 0809 30)
 Plums and sloes, fresh (Code 0809 40)
 Strawberries, fresh (Code 0810 10)
 Salt (including table salt and denatured) and sodium chloride, pure, dissolved or not in water, with or without additive agents that prevent adhesion or free-flowing (Code 2501 00)

 

 
The name of the product is mentioned herewith just for the purpose of convenience. HS code is the primary criteria to be used for identification
