General Reefer Rate Increase – Far East Eastbound North Continent to East Asia

Dear Customer,
In a continued effort to provide you with a high level of service and uninterrupted services and equipment supply, Hapag-Lloyd announces increased rates for harmless, non-high value cargoes in food grade reefer containers on the eastbound trade from North Continent to East Asia.
Valid from November 1, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd’s reefer rate from North Continent:
To East Asia Base Ports:
USD 1,800 per 20’ Reefer and USD 2,000 per 40’ Reefer
To Japan Base Ports:
USD 1,900 per 20’ Reefer and USD 2,100 per 40’ Reefer
Above rates are Gate In, meaning:
Including Origin THC, ISPS, CSF, EBS, BUC, IFP, EMS, CAF, SCC and subject to low sulphur fuel surcharge, heavy lift surcharge, doc charges, destination THC and local charges.
Foregoing is applicable for all food grade reefer shipments from North Europe to all East Asia destinations. Out ports will be subject to the prevailing transport additional in Europe and in Asia.
North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.
East Asia comprises Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brunei and Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny.
