Rate Restoration Program – North Europe and Mediterranean to West Africa

Dear Customer,
We would like to inform you that with effect from October 1, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Rate Restoration Program for all cargoes and all container types on the West African southbound trade by:
USD 125 respectively EUR 115 per 20’ Container
USD 285 respectively EUR 255 per 40’ Container
Foregoing is applicable for all shipments from North Europe and Mediterranean to all West African destinations.
North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.
Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, Southern France, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
West Africa comprises Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Benin.
