Oakland International Container Terminal (OICT) has announced that it will operate night gates Monday through Thursday and Saturday gates. Details of OICT’s plan are included below:
Refrigerated Night Gate effective February 29, 2016:
Monday through Thursday
6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Refrigerated Export In, Refrigerated Import Out, Refrigerated Empty In, Refrigerated Empty Out
East Gate Entrance
U. S. Customs available
Participation requests required
ExtendedGates@ssamarine.com by noon the previous day of posted gate
No appointments required
Saturday Gates effective: Currently running
Next Saturday Gate: February 20, 2016
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
East Gate Entrance
U.S. Customs available
Transactions: export in, empty in, one stop full out, wheeled loads, empty out (refrigerated welcome)
No import delivery lanes 2, 6, B & K at this time
Participation requests required

No appointments required
Those customers that do not send notification to ExtendedGates@ssamarine.com may be turned away at the gate. Please make sure your trucker effectively coordinates his planned use of the Saturday extended hours if you are able to use them.
