Dear customer,

In connection with our communication earlier regarding the situation at NTB Terminal in Bremerhaven following the withdrawal of eight cranes for safety reasons, we would now like to give you a short update on our immediate short-term planning aimed at minimising any potential impact to cargo flows in, out or through Bremerhaven.

We have therefore made the following adjustments to our services:

  • All local export cargo on our AE10 service (Eastbound) will remain at NTB Terminal in Bremerhaven and will be handled there;
  • The transhipment cargo on the AE10 service (Eastbound) will be diverted to Wilhelmshaven;
  • All cargo on the AE10 service (Westbound) will also be diverted to Wilhelmshaven;
  • AE10 vessels of the next 6 weeks in chronological order are: Magleby Maersk, Marstal Maersk, Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, Matz Maersk, Madison Maersk, Munkebo Maersk
  • Transhipment cargo on our ME1 service will be diverted to Wilhelmshaven;
  • All cargo on our TA1 service will be handled at MSC Gate terminal in Bremerhaven;
  • Cargo on the SLC service will also be handled at MSC Gate terminal in Bremerhaven.

We would like to ensure you that we are constantly working on finding the best possible alternative solutions for discharge and loading of your cargo and thus to limit the impact of this situation to your cargo flows to the extent possible. We will continue to update you on new developments as soon as we have new information to share.

In case of any questions, feel free to contact your Maersk Line Care Business Partner.

Best regards,

Maersk Line
