Update on Maersk Line’s contingency plan for the situation at NTB Bremerhaven – port compensation for cargo picked up in Wilhelmshaven

We at Maersk Line remain committed to providing best alternative solutions to ensure smooth cargo flows and minimum possible disruptions despite current challenges that our vendor – NTB Bremerhaven terminal – is currently faced with.
Further to our communication on Thursday evening regarding the contingency plan for current challenges at NTB Bremerhaven, we would like to give you further update.
To compensate for the cargo rerouting and the additional logistic efforts, Maersk Line is pleased to inform that we will be offering customers a port compensation for all containers picked up in Wilhelmshaven. Please contact your Care Business Partner who will be happy to provide you with detailed information.
