In order to shore up the revenue to recover the cost in maintaining the broad range of services within Asia to Mediterranean trade lane, UASC will implement a general rate increase (GRI) for all dry cargo moving from Asia to Mediterranean as below:
Amount: USD 950/1900/1900 per 20’D/40’D/40’HCD
Scope: From Asia (Excluding Japan) to West Mediterranean/ East Mediterranean/ Adriatic/ Black Sea/ North Africa
Cargo Type: Dry only
Effective date: 1 April 2016 (based on bill of lading date)
